After the strong north-westerly wind has had its day, we set off again very early to make our way northwards. The wind is coming today... from the north-north-west. Well, one cannot have everything. Despite our close-hauled course, we make it to Träslövsläge by lunchtime, a small harbour south of Varberg, 40 nm north of Torekov. From here, it is not far to the spectacular western archipelago – if the fine weather continues, this will be our next destination.

Having arrived in Träslövsläge, we get a good dose of harbour cinema: a large Bavaria catches a line with the propeller and is hauled into a box with the help of one dinghy, lots of helping hands and even more attentive spectators – plus subsequent diving action in the reasonably clean harbour water (which U. had already tested earlier when he took care of our weedy log):
