Today is the most beautiful sailing day of our trip so far: After we have once again meandered accident-free through the many shallows off Kuressaare, we are rewarded with fantastic beam and broad reach sailing through the Estonian islands (see the video below). The thunderstorms dutifully pass us to the south and west, so that we stay dry and can moor for the first time on the island of Muhu (Moon/Mohn) after almost 52 nautical miles.

U. makes the best of the rainy weather and takes the Muhu ferry (see below) to Virtsu for some shopping. The harbour master of Kuivatsu/Muhu raises the German flag in our honour – if that's not worth a “Muhu” (lager beer)!
